I am currently blogging in a car on my Macbook Pro, which is a first for me! My in-laws are in town this week and one of the places we visited in Pittsburgh was Phipps Conservatory! I have lived in Pittsburgh basically my entire life and never been to Phipps Conservatory.
Please no more photos mom!!!!
They have an orchid room, which I absolutely loved! Orchids are one of my favorite flowers of all time!
Here is some blown glass, it is all throughout the conservatory.
There is also a butterfly room! Butterflies are my favorite, as embarrassing as it is when I was younger I was called the “butterfly queen,” thanks to my brother! I mean I had every thing from butterfly hair clips to a butterfly shaped lip gloss. Just obsessed.
It was a tad bit challenging to get a lot of photos of the butterflies, because they are just so darn quick.
I believe that this is a Japanese Palm, but I am not completely certain on that though.
Sophia and her grandma (Ms.Lucy, Adrians mom). This was an area where kids can dig and play with the little pebbles. Sophia enjoyed doing that and throwing them.
On the move!!!! That is a classic facial expression of Sophia!
Sophia & her fort!

1960 Bonsai Tree.
This is a cocoa tree. Did you know it takes 5 cocoa pods to make 1 pound of chocolate.
Here are some Coy fish!
Sophia loved looking at the fish!
At this point my camera completely died and this was taken with my iPhone. And all three of us are all smilies.

If you ever come to Pittsburgh in the summer or winter around Christmas time I highly recommend visiting Phipps Conservatory! I am definitely coming back at Christmas!
