Flatbread Margarita Pizza

I have been gone for two weeks, and it definitely was not my intention by any means. I have had a great deal of writers block, I would come up with a post that I wanted to write about..sit down to write it and then “poof,” it was as if all of my thoughts and ideas disappeared. If you are a writer you know exactly what I am talking about; then you find yourself starring and rewriting the same sentence over and over again.

Today I thought it would be fun to share with you my go-to homemade Margarita Pizza, it is super easy and really good. If you find yourself not eating meat on Fridays then this will work out perfectly for lunch or even dinner.

Growing up did you not eat meat on Wednesdays as well as Fridays? We didn’t meat on Wednesdays of Fridays.

Flatbread Naan Bread (any brand)

Fresh Mozzarella (sliced)

Fresh Tomato (sliced)

Fresh Basil

Garlic Powder or  2 Garlic cloves (minced)

Oil about 1 to 2 tsp.

Salt & Pepper (to taste)

  1. Preheat your oven to 400. Add your oil and either the Garlic Powder or Garlic Cloves.
  2. Add your Tomato, Basil and then Mozzarella
  3. Sprinkle with Salt and Pepper
  4. Place in oven for about 10 minutes, you want the cheese to be melted.
