I am currently blogging in a car on my Macbook Pro, which is a first for me! My in-laws are in town this week and one of the places we visited in Pittsburgh was Phipps Conservatory! I have lived in Pittsburgh basically my entire life and never been to Phipps Conservatory.

They have an orchid room, which I absolutely loved! Orchids are one of my favorite flowers of all time!

Here is some blown glass, it is all throughout the conservatory.

There is also a butterfly room! Butterflies are my favorite, as embarrassing as it is when I was younger I was called the “butterfly queen,” thanks to my brother! I mean I had every thing from butterfly hair clips to a butterfly shaped lip gloss. Just obsessed.

It was a tad bit challenging to get a lot of photos of the butterflies, because they are just so darn quick.

I believe that this is a Japanese Palm, but I am not completely certain on that though.

Sophia and her grandma (Ms.Lucy, Adrians mom). This was an area where kids can dig and play with the little pebbles. Sophia enjoyed doing that and throwing them.
