I love to travel it is one of my favorite things to do. I love weekend getaways, vacations, day trips, airports, hotels, flying, packing. I love the fact that you can wake up at one location and be back home that night. I think you may have realized I love to travel.
Last weekend Thursday through Saturday my mom, Sophia and I did a short getaway to King of Prussia in Philidelphia, Pa. We go there for the mall….shopping. It has every kind of store you can possibly imagine from a Old Navy store to a Tiffany & CO. store. The difference between the King of Prussia Mall and Mall of America is, Mall of America is bigger square footage wise and King of Prussia has more stores. I would rather go where there is more stores. Wouldn’t you?
We travel with two starbucks..nah one is a Waffle Cone Frapp. And the other is a Vanilla Bean Frapp without coffee that Sophia & my mom shared. I also converted back to a 5 year old sitting in the backseat playing with toys.
We stayed at the DoubleTree in King of Prussia.
The night we arrived we at a restaurant in the hotel called T. Burke’s – Gastro Pub.
My French Onion soup
Flatbread pizza that we all shared
In the evenings we would spend most of our time at the pool. Sophia loves the water & since she was such a good girl shopping all day Friday we made sure that the evenings were all about her.
My little girl is starting to get curls!
Doesn’t Sophia have beautiful eyes? She has my eye shape, but does not have mine or Adrians eye color. We both have brown. Her eye color ranges between a blue, gray, or green, but when she cries they glow bright blue. I just love them.
Layla’s Boutique was one of my favorite little girls clothing store, it was so beautiful.
I fell in love with this gown, so beautiful.
Every little girl needs a tiara! Or three!
I will take one of each please.
I love going to King of Prussia it is one of my favorite places to go! Maybe we will go back next year.
What are you favorite weekend getaway spots? With or without kids. Please share, I would love to know.
