Links & Loves & Thoughts

IMG_4553Welcome Back! I am sorry that new posts have been kind of sparse recently. After Sophia’s birthday party I was honestly feeling really tired and I could not get enough rest, but I am all better now!

My nephew Timmy has been spending the week with us, and I have been loving every minute of it. He is honestly one of the sweetest Pre-teen kids I have ever known, he has been such a great help and a lot of fun!

Sophia also been sick the past couple of days with a cold. The other day she had a fever of 103 degrees so after taking Mortin the fever went awayy. But I have been monitoring it. I just hope she feels better soon. I hate seeing my sweet pea sick.

Please send us some get-well shout outs to brighten Sophia’s day! She loves to look at my blog even though she has no idea what it is.

Thank You Timmy for an awesome week! Sophia and I had a blast with you! We love you!

Now Onto Links:

Have you ever heard of Dermalogica? I haven’t until I had my facial a few weeks ago..and I am obsessed! My Esthetician Anita basically reviewed my skin and gave me a list of products that will work best for my skin type. It is expensive, but a little goes a long way! One of my favorite products that I use everyday is their Active Moist. Amazing! It makes my skin feel refreshed and hydrated without feeling greasy or heavy. I’m in love!

Do you have a facial steamer? I do! I have had mine for over 10 years and it works like a gem! I trying to do my facial steamer overnight or a couple times a night. I just love how clean my face feels afterwords. Anita used one on me during my facial and all I could think was “Why don’t I used mine?!” So that night I pulled it out and I haven’t put it back. If you are interested in one Amazon carries them.

Do you have Netflix? If not, sign up for their one month trial! I have a few movies & shows that are worth checking out for a great stay -in date night!

The Netflix List:

The Killing– A young girl is murdered. Her body is found in the truck of their town Politician’s car. With many twists and turns, not everything is as it seems.  One of the best tv series I have watched in a long long time! I finished all seasons in a week and a half.

Slasher-  Another fantastic series, this was definitely creepy and gory! It’s about this young  married woman that goes back to her old home that her parents were murdered in to get closure. But she gets more than what she has bargained for.

Hush– It’s about a deaf woman that lives in a secluded house in the woods that is terrorized by a killer. So good, kept me on the edge of my seat!

Kristy– A young college student is the only student left on campus over Thanksgiving break and is terrorized by a group of 4 people, that go after their victims based on certain characteristics. They consider them Kristy’s because if you kill Kristy you kill God.

This was a great movie! Definitely a thriller.

Tiger House– A young mans house (parents house)  is being burglarized while his girlfriend is trapped under his bed. No one including his parents knows she is there and neither do the burglars.

Revenge of the Bridesmaids– A total chick flick! Two girlfriends weasel their way into their wealthy friends wedding party, all in order to try to break up the happy couple.

Grab a glass of wine, some junk food and have an awesome girls movie night.

As you can see I love thriller movies they are my favorite! What are some of your favorite Netflix shows or movies?! Please share!

If you don’t have any plans this weekend go see the movie Don’t Breathe! So good! One of the best movies I have seen in a really long time in theaters.
