Sick & Mini Stories

I have been under the weather for a couple of days now. I believe I have Laryngitis…

Yes I am self diagnosing thanks to Dr. Google.

I don’t have a cold…or sore throat, but I do have some congestion and my voice last Saturday and Sunday disappeared…

I basically sounded like a 12 year old boy going through puberty. Not fun… but I am starting to sound and feel back to my old safe…wait.. normal self.

The Coca-Cola photo above was taken last weekend at our local Giant Eagle. Coca-Cola was  doing free photos with Santa, I loved it. My favorite part about the Christmas season are the Coca-Cola commercials so this was perfect.

Sophia was less than thrilled…

Adrian was home a few weeks back. He is a cross country trucker. When Sophia saw him she screamed and squeezed all at the same time saying “Dada!” I honest wish I had it on camera, it was the sweetest reaction. Actually the best reaction anyone could ask for, especially being away from home.

That night I took Adrain to this new Mexican Restaurant that Charnaye discovered a few days prior. The food reminded me of the one Mexican Restaurant Adrian and I used to order from about once a week when we lived down in NC a few years ago. The town was Aberdeen and the Mexican Restaurant was called La Poblanita Mexican Cafe. So good.

Then we went to Walmart…Sophia was glued to Adrian the entire time he was home.

I promise you I am naturally not this dark….I don’t think I get this dark after being on vacation. But I do love this Snapchat filter…you can always follow me at Sarah_BellaLife….

You can see my crazy life…

Ah see my natural skin color…crazy. In October Sophia and I were locked out of the house for about 6 hours. I locked my car keys in my trunk…while running behind…for a meeting…the worst part it was raining out.

Not a light drizzle…or the stop and go rain kinda’ rain…but the Forest Gump kinda’ rain

“We been through every kind of rain there is. Little bitty stingin’ rain … and big ol’ fat rain. Rain that flew in sideways. And sometimes rain even seemed to come straight up from underneath.”

Needless to say…we got colds!

Every time Sophia and I got to the mall she always makes me take photos of her by this boy statue. I have a “bazillion,” of these photos, but I love every single one of them. Sophia will say “cheese mama cheese mama.” It melts my heart every time. I am just so in love with my daughter, I couldn’t ask for anything better in life than her. I look at her and think where has the time gone, just slow down. No matter what age she will always be my little girl.

Yesterday I received some sad news. A woman that is known among my group of friends passed away of cancer, leaving behind a 16 year old boy and a husband. Please keep them in your prayers. Rest in Peace Val you will truly be missed.
