Where Have I Been?

Well hello there it’s been two weeks since I have last updated. I have never gone this long without updating or at least warning you that I have the intention of take a few days or weeks off.

Recently I feel as if I am really falling behind everything, I can’t seem to catch a break. I have run into some dental issues that need to be taken care of over the course of the next couple of months. This all stems back from damaging my adult teeth when I was in the 4th grade. On the bright side I don’t have a cyst in my gums, which is such a relief..because that requires surgery in a hospital. Plus they test it for cancer as well, which I have had one in my early twenties that was benign. From what I was told people that severely damage their mouths are prone to cysts, it is not uncommon. I was just really happy that it was not another cyst. On the bright side I have no cavities and my gums are in beautiful condition; thanks to my flossing, brushing and using mouth wash a couple times a day. I am however considering incorporating oil pulling into my daily dental care routine. Have you ever done oil pulling?

Besides going to a specialist for my teeth, I have been running around like a chicken with it’s head cut off. Its been non-stop. Sophia has had numerous play dates the last couple of weeks. We were at the zoo almost two weeks ago for the first time this Spring season, but ironically speaking we went to the zoo in our winter jacks. That was really strange, but on the flip side we saw more animals than we ever have when we have gone in the summer months.  Even though it was cold out I have to admit the elephant cages were still terrible smelling, I don’t think anything can help that honestly speaking. Although it’s considered Spring time, I am really unsure if Pittsburgh got the memo. We are still getting snow, and extremely cold weather. Maybe by my 30th birthday next month it will be warmer.

In the next couple of weeks I will be planning some dental procedures, summer camps for Sophia and making some fun summer plans. We got Sandcastle and Kennywood season passes this year so I know that we will be visiting those places quite often in the upcoming months.

Thanks for being patient with blog posts, it’s been a really busy the last couple of weeks and I finally feel as if things are slowing down a big.

Stay posted!
